Sing & Swing Jazz

Lovers of jazz will know Lincoln Center, an advocate for the music genre and arts education. A new initiative takes stars on tour to perform the Great American Songbook in all its playful and sophisticated glory. FIREBIRD

An artist collective of musicians, performers, and visual artists, Touki Delphine presents FIREBIRD at MASS MoCA, a “rule-breaking concert” and “extraterrestrial installation” in one. Inspired by composer Igor Stravinsky’s 1919 “Firebird Suite,” the production features over 600 recycled car taillights, sourced locally in the Berkshires, that hypnotically illuminate the dance of the animal. 

Community Chamber Concerts

The Boston Symphony Orchestra Community Chamber Concerts offer audiences the opportunity to experience the unique intimacy of chamber music for free, performed by members in various community venues throughout Massachusetts. The next event is set at Linde Center for Music and Learning and includes a long list of talented musicians who study violin, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and piano.
